3D Impressions Help - Object Conditional Logic |
|
This feature allows you to specify date and time ranges for when an object is to be present during playback.
This can be used in such ways as:
- Displaying seasonal pictures and effects suitable for the time of year.
- Showing a finale when a countdown to a specific event has been reached.
- Displaying information about a specific date.
These are achieved by optionally specifying an Appearance Date and/or a Disappearance Date.
Configuring
To view or enter this information, within the Studio Editor, select the object that you wish to be conditionally displayed and click the 'Conditional Logic' button from the 'Format' context ribbon category.
Appearance Date
Here you can enter a specific format of a date or time which will determine when the object is to be present within the scene.
Disappearance Date
Here you can enter a specific format of a date or time which will determine when the object is not to be present within the scene.
Date/Time Format
The logic you can enter offers a range of dates and times that can either be a one-off or a recurring event.
Below shows the types of formats you can enter:
Single Date | | YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss |
Annual Event | | MM/DD hh:mm:ss |
Daily Event | | hh:mm:ss |
Where: YYYY =4-digit year, MM =month, DD =day, hh =24-hour, mm =minutes, ss =seconds.
