Slots Files

Open Screen Saver

This shows you which of your screen saver slot files are in use and allows you to choose to open one.

Save As Screen Saver

This allows you to save the current document into one of your screen saver slots.  In this dialog box, you are asked to title the slot to help to distinguish between their content.

Test Screen Saver

This shows you what will happen when CyberFlair 3D Impressions is presented as the Windows screen saver.  When this happens, 3D Impressions will randomly choose one of its screen saver slot files that are marked as active.

A message will be displayed if all your screen saver slots are unused or if they are all marked an inactive.

Settings

Active Slots

This shows you which of your screen saver slot files are in use and allows you to select which ones are active.  Those slots not marked as active will be ignored when CyberFlair 3D Impressions is launched as the Windows screen saver.

Quality

The quality settings allows you to choose how detailed the scene is drawn at the cost of required processing power.

For more information about this setting see 'Screen Saver Settings' topic.

Eco Mode

The Eco Mode settings allow you to control aspects of how the scene is drawn in a way that can conserve computer resources and energy use.

For more information about this setting see 'Screen Saver Settings' topic.

Use Screen Saver

This button displays the Windows setting dialog box for changing which Screen Saver program is used by Windows.

Once clicked, simply ensure 'CyberFlair 3D Impressions' is selected and click OK.

You may also wish to check the wait time setting that determines how long before Windows starts displaying the screen saver.  For the screen saver to be successfully displayed, you need to choose a time shorter than the Power Management setting that switches off your monitor.  This power setting can be accessed by clicking the 'Change power settings' link or the 'Power...' button on Windows XP.
